Coaching style
Often criticized for only throwing the ball, the Emperor has stated that he prefers to have a balanced offense, but if that offense isn't possible, he will play heavily to his strengths. For example, his 2015 Clemson offense relied almost completely on the passing game because of his strong pass blocking offensive line paired with great QB/WR combos, but the run game was used in red zone situations in an attempt to balance the offense as much as possible.
Emperor views special teams as very important, particularly the return game. This shows in the number of punt return TDs Clemson gets.
