Eric Peebles (born May 25, 1992) is an American football Offensive Tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at LSU. The St. Louis Rams selected him with the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NFLHC Draft.

Professional Career

Pre-draft

During the 2015 NFLHC Combine, Peebles was one of nine tackles invited. He led all offensive tackles with a broad jump of 8 feet 10 inches. With this success, he earned a private work out invitation with the St. Louis Rams.

Draft

Peebles was selected in the 1st round of the 2015 NFLHC draft. He was the 3rd offensive tackle selected, and 15th player overall. He signed a 5 year, $45 million dollar contract with St. Louis.

St. Louis Rams

2015 Season

Peebles started every game in the 2015 as he protected Darrell Murphy's blind side. He did well for a rookie, and his imposing size and strength led the way on a strong offensive line unit.

2016 Season

Peebles once again played the entire season as a left tackle, starting every game. Peebles was once again a key part of the offensive line, but unfortunately he missed out on the pro bowl.

Philadelphia Eagles

2017 Season

Peebles was left unprotected for the 2017 Expansion Draft. The Philadelphia Eagles selected him with the 3rd pick of the first round.
