History
GatorBoy10 and noles_fan_4_life era (2018-2019)
The first two seasons for the Owls under GatorBoy10 and noles_fan_4_life were a rough start for the program combining for a 3-21 record.
randye4 era (2020)
Accomplished coach randye4 decided to leave Alabama after winning two national championships and headed to FAU to build his own program. Randye4 had a successful 2020 season, posting a 5-7 record while bringing in a great recruiting class. The Owls also handed the Rice Owls their first loss in C-USA play. After one season, randye4 decided to leave for Oklahoma State.
McWovin era (2021-2022)
McWovin took over the program partway into the 2021 season and continued where randye4 left off and posted another 5-7 season. The Owls took a stride forward in 2022, making it to their first bowl game which resulted in a win. The Owls almost won the C-USA East division but narrowly lost to rival FIU. Coach McWovin left after the season.
Unknown era (2023)
A coach was said to be in charge of FAU at the beginning of the 2023 season, but it is unknown who it was or how many games they coached. The FAU head coaching position was vacant for a majority of the season.
Wahoo era (2024)
Coach Wahoo took over in the offseason leading up to the 2024 season. He was in charge during the transfer period but did not land any new players.
