Gary Faneca (born March 14th, 1992) is an American football Wide Receiver for the Washington Redskins.

College career

Gary Faneca attended Oregon and was their number one receiver for the 2013 CFBHC season before entering for the draft early as a redshirt junior.

Professional career

Faneca was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2014 NFLHC draft by the Detroit Lions, and assumed their starting wide receiver position as a rookie. He showed consistency during his tenure with the Lions making the Pro Bowl all but once, and being awarded a place on the All-Pro team following the 2016 season.

He was traded to the Washington Redskins during the offseason following the 2018 season in a package deal that saw the Lions receive Adrian Allen, Billy Williams, and two draft picks in return.
