Horace Williams is currently the Wide Receiver of the University of Virginia football team.

Early years

Williams grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. He was a dominate player for his high school (Fall Mountain High School) and was Mr. New Hampshire his senior year. He was recruited by many FCS teams, but Virginia offered him a full scholarship and he committed late in the recruiting cycle.

College Career

Williams was the #1 WR for the Cavaliers during 2013 Season. That season the Cavaliers finished the regular season at 2-10. He was teammates with Chad Dess, Preston Gill, and Mike Taylor who were all eventually drafted into the NFLHC. Following the 2013 Season, Williams declared for the NFL Draft.

NFL Career

Williams was not expected to be drafted entering the 2014 NFLHC Draft. He wasn't and signed a UDFA contract with the New Orleans Saints. He played for one season and then retired stating fatigue and lack of family time as main factors for retiring.

Post-NFL Career

Following his one season in the NFL, Williams returned home to Langdon, NH to work for a local accounting firm. He contacted Coach npklemm prior to the start of the 2016 NFLHC Season about potential coaching opportunities. After several weeks of discussions, he was hired to be the Wide Receivers Coach.

Coaching Career

Williams was hired before Week 10 of the 2016 NFLHC Season. The Cavaliers went 0-4 in their final four games.
