History
LDYo era (2014)
The Indiana Hoosiers football team was formed in 2014, where they were coached by LDYo. He and senior quarterback Kamau Davis brought the Hoosiers to a 4-8 record including a 31-14 win over the Michigan Wolverines. LDYo left the team at the end of the season to take over as the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers.
Vacant era (2015)
Following the departure of head coach LDYo, the Hoosiers athletic department was unable to find a replacement for the entire 2015 season. The team was ran by committee, and it showed on the field as they finished the season 1-11.
Lewisder000 and 12hgk12 era (2016)
The school was committed to find a new coach at the beginnning of the 2016 season and they landed on Lewisder000. His time with the Hoosiers was short lived as he quit after an 0-2 start to the season. Coach 12hgk12 was promoted to head coach and he would also quit early on as he brough the team to an 0-5 record.
TheSam era (2016-2018)
After the departure of two head coaches to start the 2016 season, the Indiana team was finally able to to find some stability as they made TheSam their next head coach. He coached the team for their remaining 7 games of the 2016 season and managed to go 1-6 with a 45-42 win over Rutgers to end the team's 16 game losing streak. TheSam would go on to coach the team for two more seasons, where he compiled a total record of 8-23. At the end of the 2018 season he left to become the head coach of the Maryland Terrapins.
wrigleyfan era (2019)
The athletic department hired wrigleyfan to become the next head coach at the beginning of the 2019 season. wrigleyfan managed to coach the team to a 6-6 record and bring them to their first ever bowl game, where they lost 20-14 to BYU in the Birmingham Bowl. It was the most successful season in school history, but coach wrigleyfan would leave to coach the Arizona Wildcats at the end of the year.
LDYo's second era (2020)
Following another year where the school couldn't hold down a head coach, hey turned to a familiar face in LDYo. The return managed to go worse than his first stint as head coach, as the team would go 2-7 before LDYo would leave the team again. The team finished the season 2-10 and without a coach.
Jamzz era (2021-Present)
At the beginning of the 2021 season, the Hoosiers managed to bring in former Eastern Michigan head coach, Jamzz. In his one season with the team Jamzz and senior quarterback Adrian Rupp was able to bring the team to a 6-6 record in the regular season, including a win over the 2019 and 2020 national champions, Penn State. Indiana also ended their 13 game conference losing streak with a win over Iowa early in the year. The team went to their second ever bowl game, where they lost to Washington in the Bay Area Bowl. In Jamzz's second season they team regressed to 4-8, despite achieving what is arguably the team's best win in their history with a defeat of Nebraska, which kept them out of the playoff. The third season of Jamzz's tenure became the best in school history, as the Hoosiers were led to a 9-4 record. The season included the team's first ever victory in the Old Oaken Bucket and their first bowl victory. At the end of the season Jamzz would announce that he was moving on from Indiana, and leaving to coach his alma mater, Wisconsin.
