During the 2015 NFLHC Combine, Brown was one of 11 guards invited. He also earned a private work out invitation with the New Orleans Saints.
Draft
Brown was selected in the 1st round of the 2016 NFLHC draft. He was the 1st offensive guard selected, and 10th player overall. He signed a 5 year, $40 million dollar contract with Dallas, in accordance with rookie contract rules.
Dallas Cowboys
Brown started every game (except for one game in 2018 he missed due to injury) from 2016-2019 as he protected Kamau Davis and Taylor Rodriquez from safety. In each of his first four seasons, he was named to the pro bowl. During that time, his team enjoyed relative success, going 8-4, 10-6, 10-6, and 5-11, including a Super Bowl in 2019.
