Jieret
Jieret is the current Head Coach of the Washington Huskies' football and basketball teams, and the Owner/GM of the Seattle Seahawks. He is also the current NHLHC Owner, GM, and head coach of the Vancouver Canucks after coaching the 2020 New York Islanders. After the 2019 CFBHC season, he was elected as the Mid-American Conference's commissioner and served in that position until departing the Western Michigan Broncos after the 2021 season to return home to his boyhood team, the Huskies.
College Coaching Career
In 2019, Jieret was hired as the third Head Coach of the Western Michigan Broncos football team, following the departure of Raybaxter2211 to Michigan State. Later that year, he was also tasked with reviving the dormant Broncos' college basketball team. He will now be pursuing the same goals for Washington.
College Football
In his first year coaching the Broncos not only reached 10 wins for the first time in their history, but also notched their first bowl victory, a 23-17 victory over the University of South Florida Bulls. The following year was even better, as Western Michigan beat the Ohio Bobcats to stake a 12-1 record and claim their first MAC championship. They made the CFP Playoffs (the first MAC team to ever do so) but fell in the quarterfinals to the Pittsburgh Panthers 24-23. In 2021, WMU once again won the MAC Championship by defeating the Akron Zips, who handed the Broncos one of only two losses on the season. Western would go on and defeat the SMU Mustangs 17-13 in the Frisco Bowl. However in the offseason the Washington Huskies position opened up and Jieret left to take it, leaving behind a squad very capable of winning multiple conference titles.
Hockey
In 2020, Jieret was hired by GK12303 to be the inaugural Head Coach of the 2020 New York Islanders. The Islanders missed the playoffs in his only year there; after the season was over he took over the expansion 2021 Vancouver Canucks as its Owner and GM. After a couple of missteps while looking for a coach, Jieret decided to take up that responsibility directly.
NFLHC Career
In late 2019, Jieret was hired by Bingo415 to serve as the Denver Broncos' Director of College Scouting (advisory role). Following the 2020 season he took over Head Coaching duties from Bingo415 who focused on his owner responsibilities. But when his hometown Seattle Seahawks became available, he left the Broncos organization to take over all Seahawk football operations.
