Professional Career
Overview
King was considered one of the top Quarterbacks available in the 2019 NFLHC Draft alongside Matty Swift and Alex Leshoure. Considered by many to be a top-10 pick many analysts didn't believe King would fall further than the #8 pick of the Houston Texans.
King was praised heavily as a 'Pro Ready' QB prospect with an excellent grasp of Quarterback mechanics. His main strengths were considered to be his clean accurate passing and the ability to go through progressions and reads as well as being mentally tough to deal with the pressures of the position.
