Kirby is the current Owner of the Cleveland Browns in the NFLHC and the Head Coach of the Utah Utes in CFBHC. He previously served as the head coach of the Bowling Green Falcons for the 2021 season, leading them to their first ever bowl berth, winning the Camellia Bowl.

Early years

Kirby was born in London, England. The long time fan of football and former rugby player decided to up sticks and move across the Atlantic to pursue his dream of forging a career as a Head Coach.

CFBHC

Bowling Green

After taking over in the early stages of the 2021 season, hopes for Bowling Green were low, to say the least. The team had never been to a bowl game, and the fans had never even heard of their new head coach Kirby. He managed surprise many by leading the team to an 8-5 record, winning their first ever bowl game along the way. This is still, to this day, Kirby's one and only bowl venture, and as a result he currently boasts an impressive 100% win ratio in bowl games.

Utah

Much was made of whether Kirby would stay in Bowling Green, or leave after the successful season he had just had. When the opportunity to take over play-off participants Utah arose, Kirby was established as an early favourite for the role. He was officially announced as the new Utes head coach before the 2022 season.

2022 was a rough year on the field, as the team lost a lot of top class starters, namely Donald Culver. Despite the poor results on the field, Kirby managed to weave the open market and secure a very solid recruitment class, that included number one quarterback prospect, and home town boy Finn Leonard.

It was more struggles in 2023 though, as the team limped to another 2-10 season, their second in succession. Again though, Kirby managed to secure a very successful recruitment class and going into the 2024 season optimism is a lot higher for the team.

NFLHC

Indianapolis Colts

Kirby served as the Chief Scout for the Indianapolis Colts for their 2022 season. He used this time to learn the professional aspects of the game, and to gain valuable experience around top class players such as Aaron Shea.

Baltimore Ravens

Towards the end of the 2022 season, the Baltimore Ravens, who were without a coach, decided to bring Kirby in as Head Coach for the remainder of the season. The results were a mixed bag, and Kirby departed the team at the end of the season.

Cleveland Browns

Following his departure from Baltimore, Kirby ended up buying the Cleveland Browns organisation. He instated himself as Head Coach for the 2023 season. It turned out to be one of the roughest seasons in franchise history, as the team barely escaped the first ever winless season with a week 17 win over the Bengals, to finish at 1-15. Kirby fired himself from the head coaching role, and hired Suffocation as his immediate replacement. Kirby continues to own the organisation.
