Recruiting

Murray attended Lund High School in Lund, Nevada, where a four-year standout at both running back and linebacker. After running for nearly 2,000 yards as a sophomore, he received dozens of scholarship offers from schools around the country. He was considered a consensus top 10 running back in the 2017 class and eventually signed with the Colorado Buffaloes.

2018

Murray redshirted during the 2018 season. He was named Scout Team Player of the Year by his teammates.

2019

Murray won the starting running back job during spring practice and started all 13 games during the season. He rushed for at least 100 yards 11 times during the season and finished with 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was a second team All-Conference selection and was twice named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.

2020

Murray enters the 2020 season as the Buffaloes' starting running back.
