The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are a CFBHC team playing in the West division of the C-USA. They began play in the 2018 season.

History

GK12303 Era (2019)

After an unsuccessful 2018 season, the Bulldogs hired GK12303 to be the head coach. GK went 4-8 and decided to leave the Bulldogs after one season to go to Wyoming in what he believed would be an easier area to recruit.

KBlack47 Era (2020-2022)

After a short stint from EliTakesLs, KBlack was named the new coach in the middle of the 2020 season. KBlack47 finished the season strong going 2-3 after the Bulldogs started 0-7 without him. The team started out the 2021 season with Devin Pickens as QB and went 1-5. KBlack47 decided it was time for a change at QB and put in QB Cyrus Duncan. The Bulldogs finished the regular season on a 6 game winning streak behind Duncan's arm and leading the Bulldogs to their first bowl game which they lost to nearby UL Monroe. The Bulldogs started 2022 on an interesting note after losing to Ole Miss but the result was overturned into a win for the Bulldogs when it was found that Ole Miss used an ineligible player. KBlack left as coach shortly after.

Duke3456 Era (2022)

Former North Texas coach Duke3456 went across the division and became coach of the Bulldogs. Louisiana Tech was not able to rekindle the magic of the 2021 season and finished the year 1-11, the only victory coming from the forfeit from Ole Miss.

Gary Baldacci Era (2023)

After starting the 2023 season 0-4, the Bulldogs hired former NFLHC quarterback, Gary Baldacci. Baldacci played football at West Virginia and was a backup QB in the NFLHC from 2015-2021. Baldacci took over mid-season and went 4-4 including some tight losses to the top teams in the division, UTSA and Rice. In the offseason, former head coach GK12303 returned to the Bulldogs.
