Malcolm Douglas-Scott, also known as MDS (born August 22, 1992) is an American football Inside Linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football at Angelina College. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 60th overall pick in the 2016 NFLHC Draft.
Early Years
Douglas-Scott was born in the East Texas town of Lufkin. He attended Lufkin High School and was the leader of the defense. Known for his ability to cover the field from sideline to sideline and the brutality of his tackles, MDA was thought to have NFL potential. A standout linebacker for the Lufkin Panthers, his dreams of playing Division I football were over before they could begin. Run-ins with law enforcement would cause scholarship offers from teams such as Texas A&M, TCU, and LSU to disappear. With dreams of making it to the NFL, MDS decided his best route would be to stay home and attend Angelina Junior College.
