Messiah Sheppard is a Running Back currently playing for the Georgia Southern Eagles. He is expected to be the starter for the 2022 season.

Early Years

Sheppard originally commited to the South Carolina Gamecocks, but, due academic concerns, was obligated to follow the JUCO route. After attending Aiken Technical College in 2020 and 2021, and clearing his acadmic issues, he was able to get back at the FBS level, and did so committing to the recently promoted Eagles. Sheppard officially transferred to Georgia Southern in 2022. He was unranked as a Running Back prospect.
