2017
The 2017 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's 4th season in the National Football League. Behind a lethal offense led by second-year QB Brian Brown and WR Rodney Montgomery, the Dolphins scored the most points in the league (480). But a fierce defense led by middle linebacker Kevin Harris and strong safety Dane Wilson would not be left behind, allowing only 203 points to also lead the league in this category. Miami also nearly completed the first undefeated season in league history; only a narrow 13-10 loss to the New York Jets in week 14 prevented that.
The Dolphins continued their winning ways after that, not dropping another game the rest of the year. That led to a dominant playoff run that culminated in their 26-17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl IV. Soluna earned both Head Coach and Head Executive of the Year awards stemming from his work this season.
smckenz3 years (2018-Present)
2018
The 2018 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's 5th season in the National Football League. As the defending Super Bowl champions they followed up with a 12-4 record and a Wild Card berth, where they beat the AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals 38-6. However, they lost a close game in the Division Round to their rival New York Jets 17-19.
The end of the regular season saw turmoil as first-year coach FSUAlumni abruptly quit the position, followed shortly thereafter by Soluna. The NFL approved the purchase of the team by then-Texas A&M coach smckenz3; ironically he was in the midst of agreeing to coach the Kansas City Chiefs when he learned of the approval and had to back out. smckenz3 handled all front office duties for the Dolphins' playoff run, then hired HAFFnHAFF and vtgorilla afterwards to handle GM and scouting duties respectively.
The Dolphins made the playoffs as a Wild Card and defeated the Bengals 38-6 before losing to the Jets in the Divisional Round 19-17.
2019
The 2019 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's sixth season in the National Football League, and the first under full control of the new front office led by owner smckenz3. The Dolphins had a slow start to the season and that combined with marked improvement in the other AFC East caused Miami to miss the playoffs for the first time in franchise history, as they lost a win-and-in to the New York Jets in the final week of the regular season.
2020
The 2020 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's seventh season in the National Football League. The Dolphins had an eventful offseason with GM HAFFnHAFF getting fired and coach vtgorilla stepping down, leading to owner smckenz3 running the entire front office. Miami ended with a 9-7 record, good enough for second in the AFC East but not good enough to make the playoffs. The Dolphins' struggles to win games outside their division was to blame, as they went 5-1 against the AFC East but only 4-6 outside of it.
2021
The 2021 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's eighth season in the National Football League. The Dolphins aggressively moved up in that season's draft to acquire standout wide receiver J.C. Weldon. They reeled off ten straight wins to open the season before falling to the Rams to end the undefeated bid. Miami ended with a 14-2 record in the regular season, capturing home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They defeated the Jets in the Divisional Round 27-17 before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Raiders 27-33.
2022
The 2022 Miami Dolphins season was the franchise's ninth season in the National Football League. The Dolphins were again among the heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl and they played up to that expectation, cruising to a 12-4 record and the top seed through out the AFC Playoffs. They defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 38-10 in the Divisional Round then handled the Tennessee Titans 35-14 in the AFC Championship game. However, they lost in Super Bowl IX to the Green Bay Packers 37-17.
