The Tigers are hoping to bounce back from a down year. With a year of starting experience under his belt, Redshirt Sophomore Tucker Dowden should be plenty capable to lead the team to victory.

2018
The Tigers encountered a rebuilding year following the departure of Aaron Shea. Redshirt Freshman Tucker Dowden took the reigns.
After a strong start, going 3-0 against several out of conference foes, the Tigers finally dropped a game, losing to #2 Alabama 21-7. But after a bye week, the troops rallied when they faced #7 Georgia and pulled off the stunning upset, winning 20-13. Quarterback Tucker Dowden was especially impressive on the day, racking up passing and receiving touchdowns as well as 70 yards on the ground. He was awarded with SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors in week 7.
Momentum didn't carry through, as 4 straight losses ruined the hopes of any shot at division champs - including a demoralizing 19-0 loss to unranked Vanderbilt. Coach vtgorilla was able to straighten out the team down the stretch, winning 3 of the last 4 games. Although they lost a bitter match at home to rival Kansas, they won their first bowl game in several years by dominating an upward trending ECU team.

Mason Dutton was also recognized for a superior performance in Week 10. The starting kicker kicked 5 extra points and 2 field goals to gain the recognition as SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Tigers missed out on a chance to play in the SEC Championship game, but the pieces fell nicely and they received an invite to the College Football Playoff. They faced Michigan in the Orange Bowl.
Quarterback Aaron Shea was awarded the Heisman trophy and was the first pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

2016
The Tigers started off strong in 2016, going 3-0 to start the season. Quarterback Aaron Shea has played at an outstanding level, drawing early season Heisman attention. The Missouri Athletic Department launched a billboard and internet campaign to promote Aaron Shea's success, hoping it leads to just a few more Heisman votes at the end of the season. He received SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors in Week 1 after throwing for 483 yards and 5 touchdowns against Clemson.
The Tigers continued on to an 9-0 record before sustaining a loss, but it was not a smooth road. 5 out of their last 7 games were decided by a single score or less, with 2 games going into overtime and several miraculous last second plays to claim victory. They locked in a trip to the SEC Championship game by winning the SEC East division.
The Tigers luck ran out down the stretch as they lost 4 of their last 5 games, including the SEC Championship Game and the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. They were all close losses and 3 of them were against teams ranked in the top 25. Despite the close losses to highly ranked opponents, Missouri's stock plummeted and they finished the season ranked #24 in the coaches poll.
It was a great season for Tiger fans, with a both berth and winning the SEC East. Even more exciting for fans, however, is the decision made by the superstar, Heisman contending QB, Aaron Shea to return for his Senior year. He received a spot on the 2nd team All-SEC roster.

2015
Missouri's 2015 campaign started poorly, with the Tigers losing their first 7 games of the season. It wasn't a surprise, since acewulf had abandoned the team and left them without a head coach. New coach, vtgorilla was hired right before week 7 and immediately started to turn things around. The Tigers went 3-3 to end the season, including a blowout win over rival Kansas.
