College Career

Wooten committed and enrolled early to the Rice Owls. He became the starter as a freshman. He was a four year starter for the Owls and holds the record for most receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns in a season and career by a running back in CFBHC. He won the Paul Hornung award in 2020, which is given to the country's most versatile player.
