Hills was considered one of the elite tight end prospects of the 2021 NFLHC Draft.
Draft
Hills was selected with the 17th overall pick of the 2021 NFLHC Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He was the first tight end taken.
Arizona Cardinals
Hills began his NFLHC career as the immediate #1 TE on the Cardinals depth chart, ahead of 1st-year tight end Emanuelu Lesa. Despite quarterback Taylor Rodriguez's struggles, Hills put together a decent rookie season.
During the 2022 offseason, the Cardinals brought in quarterbacks Paul Davenport and Rob Corp, in hopes that the duo would help Hills reach his full potential.
With Hills continuing to fail to breakout, the Cardinals shipped off Corp and later Davenport heading into 2023, replacing the two with Falcons castoff A.J. Jefferson, in hopes of fully maximizing Hills' potential.
Hills finally looked like a potential Pro Bowler in 2023 before his season was cut short with a severe MCL bruise in Week 8.
