The North Texas Mean Green are a CFBHC team playing in the West division of the C-USA. North Texas began in the 2016 CFBHC season as a member of the MWC conference before moving to the C-USA West division.

History

chuckthetruck, Zenrer, and vermontbro Era (2016-2017)

The first two seasons for the Mean Green came under the reign of three coaches. The Mean Green struggled to get a foothold in the MWC.

Taborfan20 Era (2018)

The Mean Green moved to the newly formed C-USA conference in 2018 and gained an experienced coach in Taborfan20, who formerly coached Baylor. Tabor only spent one season with the Mean Green.

pizzarolls Era (2019-2021)

Pizzarolls spent two and a half seasons as head coach of the Mean Green. He led them to their only bowl game appearance in 2020 but left the team halfway through the 2021 season.

Qupax Era (2022-Present)

After starting 0-4, the Mean Green hired Qupax to take over as head coach. Qupax made a good first impression going 5-3 resulting in a 5-7 record for the Mean Green. In 2023, new running back from junior college Gray Stewart became the focus of the team and led the way to an 8-5 record. The team returned to the Independence Bowl but lost to Florida State.
