Early Years

Vitale attended Augusta High School in Augusta, Kansas. After lettering as both a Defensive Tackle and Offensive Tackle, Vitale was a highly sought after recruit. He elected to follow in the footsteps of his late uncle, Vito, who played basketball at Nebraska.
