College career

Griffin was a four year starter at Tennessee, he was considered a good coverage corner throughout his career, known for the ability to shut down other teams receivers and play with passion and determination. He was part of a strong Tennessee defense in 2015 that lead the Volunteers to a 10-3 record, narrowly missing out on the SEC East title.

Griffin was invited to the scouting combine, he had a nice combine posting one of the faster 40 yard dashes, clocked at 4.27 seconds.

Draft
