Ricky Chambers is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. He played college football at Alabama. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with the 62nd overall pick in the 2017 NFLHC Draft.

Early Life

Chambers was a three-sport star in high school, participating in basketball, track, and football. As a high school football player, he earned All-Area honors as an outside linebacker in addition to being All-State at wide receiver. He originally enrolled at Alabama in spring 2013 to join the track team, but over the summer transitioned to their inaugural 2013 football team.

College Career

Chambers attended Alabama for four years, receiving playing time as a true freshman while eventually earning dual degrees in Music Education and Music Composition.

All values from NFL Combine

Chambers disappointed some at the combine, not entirely living up to his track star pedigree from high school. He finished with the 9th-fastest 40-time of combine receiver attendees, the 13th best vertical leap, but tied Penn State's Mark Harrington for best broad jump at 10-3.

Draft

Chambers was selected with the 62nd pick of the 2017 NFLHC Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
