Professional career
Draft
Barraza was picked 118th overall in the 2015 draft by the Oakland Raiders. Barraza was the second player drafted from East Carolina University.
Arizona Cardinals
2022 Season
Following an injury during training camp to center T.J. Brumm, the Cardinals addressed offensive line depth issues by signing Barraza.
During Week 2 of the 2022 preseason, Barraza suffered a shoulder injury that would sideline him for at least the first seven regular season games of the season.
2023 Season
Barraza entered the 2023 preseason as the Cardinals 3rd OT, behind Beckett Miller and Jack Allen, but soon faced competition from FA signee Lyle Matthews and UDFA Micah Stanford. Unimpressed with the group showing, the Cardinals would later trade for Mike Ledbetter, all but sealing the fate of Barraza and co.
Barraza was released following the 4th preseason game.
