Robert Haynes (born August 28, 1995) is an American football Offensive Tackle for the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at Michigan State. The San Francisco 49ers selected him with the 8th overall pick in the 2017 NFLHC Draft.

Early Years
Haynes was born in Mio, Michigan, a small town with around 2,000 population. He attended Mio Ausable High School.
College Career
Haynes went to Michigan State for four years. He spent all four seasons as the team's starting right tackle, helping the Spartans achieve a 29-21 record during that span. He started every game and made a name for himself with his freakish athleticism and hard-working nature.
Professional Career
Pre-draft
Haynes was widely considered the third best offensive lineman in the 2017 Draft class before the Combine. It was there that he forced his way into the conversation for the Draft's best. Haynes finished as the best offensive tackle in every drill. He also set the record for the most bench press reps in NFLHC history with 39.

Draft
Haynes was selected with the 8th overall pick of the 2017 NFLHC Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He was the second offensive tackle taken in the draft, behind only Grey Brown. Haynes signed a 4 year, $24 million deal with the 49ers.

2017 Season
Haynes was immediately named as the starting left tackle for the 49ers. Kenyon Hendricks, the team's starter in 2016, moved over to play right tackle.
