2021 Season

Sample committed to Texas Tech for his final year of collegiate eligibility. He chose the Red Raiders over other Big 12 powers Texas and Baylor. He said that he chose Texas Tech because the football staff in Lubbock made him feel right at home and that he was ready to continue the tradition of strong defensive line play that Texas Tech is known for.
