College career
Ritter committed to Pittsburgh due to coach Jumbo's promise to give him immediate play time; he was a starter as a true freshman.
2017 Season
Ritter played WR2 in his true freshman season next to senior Jermaine Bishop. He caught 10 touchdowns, second on the team that season, from QB Luke Williams.
2018 Season
Following Bishop's graduation, Ritter became WR1 on the team, winning the competition ahead of redshirt freshman Adam Coles. Though his TD numbers went down, he had his first 1,000 yard season catching passes from Williams.
2019 Season
Ritter was passed on the depth chart by Coles and had his worst season by far as a collegiate, catching just 43 passes and 4 TD due to his adjustment to a scrambling QB.
