Sean Taylor is an American football cornerback who plays for the New England Patriots. He played college football at Western Michigan.

Early Years
Taylor attended Edgewood High School in Ashtabula, Ohio. A two-sport star in high school, he was rated as the 4th-best cornerback prospect in the 2016 class (Best in the Central region).
Recruiting
Taylor committed to Western Michigan during the 1st round of recruiting.
College Career
Taylor burst onto the national scene in 2018 during a week 12 game against Kent State, where he returned two interceptions for touchdowns in a wild 59-49 victory. During his career Taylor showed a knack for the big play, returning an incredible six interceptions for touchdowns in his college career - over 37% of them. Prior to the 2020 MAC Championship game against Ohio, he and MLB Kareem Boykin declared their intentions to enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

Taylor was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 13th overall pick of the 2021 NFLHC Draft, becoming the first cornerback selected in that draft.
