History

Hatin' Ass Spurrier Era (2013-2014)

After an okay 6-6 first season, Hatin' Ass Spurrier was fired after a 2-6 start to the 2014 CFBHC Season. He finished with a record of 8-12 and one bowl appearance, Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, their only bowl appearance in CFBHC. The job was later picked up by b_e_e_r.

b_e_e_r Era (2014-2015)

b_e_e_r finished up the 2014 CFBHC Season 2-2 quit the head coaching job after a 2-4 start to the 2015 season. b_e_e_r left South Carolina with a head coaching record of 4-8.

alquizamatt1 Era (2015-2016)

Stunned by the departure of head coach b_e_e_r, the Gamecocks played out the remainder of the season winless under head coach alquizamatt1 and finished 0-7 in the SEC and a dissapointing 2-10 on the season. alquizamatt1 began the 2016 CFBHC Season 3-3 and was let go from the job after another disappointing season.

joedchi Era (2016-2019)

South Carolina hired Joedchi after alquizamatt1 was fired, previously the Defensive Coordinator at SMU as it's 4th head coach in as many seasons. With a strong background in defense and recruiting, the Gamecocks were looking to rebuild the program from the ground up. 2016 was an up and down roller coaster ride for Gamecock fans though. South Carolina got out of the gate hot winning it's first three games. Then SEC play started and smacked the Gamecocks in the mouth seeing them lose their next 5 games, all in conference. The following rebuilding seasons proved to take their toll on joedchi, who decided to leave after the 2019 CFBHC Season to join the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He finished his tenure at the Gamecocks with a record of 15-39.

Hagan Era (2020-Present)

South Carolina hired Hagan after the 2019 Season in hopes to rebuild the program.
