The Super Bowl is the annual NFLHC Championship game and is contested between the winner of the AFC and NFC Championship games.

  • Winning team and Losing team columns indicate the number of times that team has appeared in a Super Bowl.

Teams with no Super Bowl appearances

Eighteen current teams have never reached the Super Bowl. They are the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Arizona Cardinals.

In addition, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, and New York Giants have hosted Super Bowls, meaning fifteen teams have neither played in or hosted a Super Bowl.

Four teams have not appeared in a Super Bowl in at least seven years after having made it at some point in the past, they are:

Eight teams have appeared in the Super Bowl without ever winning. In descending order of number of appearances and list chronologically, they are:

  • Indianapolis Colts (1), appeared in Super Bowl III.
