Early Years

Napier attended Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona. Undersized at just 210lbs, he was not recruited to play FBS football, instead heading to Chandler-Gilbert Community College to spend a few years bulking up, playing reserve catcher on the Coyotes baseball team. After two seasons of JuCo, Napier committed to transfer to the Colorado Buffaloes to play his high school football position of defensive end.
