History

2013 Season

The 2013 season was the first in which the Vanderbilt Commodores played. The Commodores finished the regular season with a 0-12 record, and were the only team to have done so.

2013 Offseason

After the 2013 season, described by Vanderbilt Athletic Director Geoffrey Robberbaron as, "An utter embarrassment! I couldn't show my head at the country club for weeks. And don't even mention the constant taunts at our secret illuminati luncheons", Vanderbilt hired serwendel, a former Vanderbilt recruiting coordinator, to the post of head coach. Said Robberbaron of serwendel, "He's a top notch chap, always good about avoiding those losses."

2014 Season

In the 2014 season, the Vanderbilt Commodores finished with a 3-9 record. While such a record is normally viewed as an embarrassment by other teams, the Vanderbilt fanbase have viewed it as a huge improvement. The Commodores' season was marked by wins over North Carolina and Florida.

2015 Season

The Commodores' 2015 resulted in a 8-4 record, followed up by a defeat in the first bowl game in school history, the Weis Market bowl.
