The 2014 TCU Horned Frogs represented Texas Christian University in the 2014 CFBHC season. The team was coached by DangerZoneh in his first full season as TCU coach and they were guided to a record of 4-8.

While TCU only managed to win 4 games so far this season, many of those victories have been memorable. The first being TCU's monumental upset over the Texas Longhorns, just their second win of the season - in which they overcame a 17 point deficit after the first quarter to win. The Longhorns were ranked #4 in the nation at the time. This win lead to a 3 game win streak for the Horned Frogs, which saw them take down their rivals, the Baylor Bears, and foe Iowa State.

However, before the late season success, the program hit a season low in a 21-42 loss to Oklahoma when star linebacker Ray Lee Coia intercepted a Robert Price pass, and on the return, broke his arm. An injury that was expected to send TCU into a sputtering finish produced the opposite effect and motivated the team.

Recruiting

TCU's 2014 recruiting class was one of the strongest the program has ever seen. Headlined by WR Jamel Beckham, a recruit ranked top 10 nationally (1st at his position), this class has both depth and stars. Other major recruits from this class were DE Michael Davis, FB Fredrick Marshall, and CB Gary Lee.

Alongside of those recruits, TCU also pulled in a class of junior college class that was ranked #1 in the nation. This class was headlined by TE Paul Carter-Williams and FS Andrew Wright.

Between the high school recruiting and the junior college recruiting, TCU's ranking in the IRQ skyrocketed all the way to #3 in the nation.
