Erik Russell (born May 15, 1992) is an American football offensive tackle for the New York Jets.

College career

Russell started at right tackle for both of his years at Ohio State.

Russell was not invited to the combine, but was considered a draftable prospect.

Russell was not selected in the draft. In undrafted free agency, he signed a 2 year $2.8 million frontloaded deal with the Jets.

Russell won the starting right tackle job over incumbent Don Fontenot.

Russell started at RT for the second consecutive season.
