Draft

Howell was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the 53rd overall pick in the 2015 NFLHC Draft.

Baltimore Ravens

Howell was immediately tabbed as the Ravens #1 receiver in his rookie year. He managed to appear on the stat sheet in every game. Howell gained a reputation as a very consistent player and qualified for the 2016 Pro Bowl.

New York Jets

During the 2018 NFLHC Draft, Howell was traded to the Jets along with the Ravens' 7th round pick (229th) in exchange for Michael Potts, [[Daniel Scott], and the Jets' 2nd round pick (54th).

2018 Season

Howell had a very successful season in his first as a Jet, setting career marks for most receptions and yards in a season and qualifying for the Pro Bowl.

2019 Season

Howell led the Jets in receiving once again, topping his career best in yards for the second consecutive season and earning his second 1000 yard season.

Seattle Seahawks

During the 2024 offseason, Seattle traded Kristian Little and a 2024 4th round selection in exchange for Howell.
