College career
Jonah declared for the NFL Draft after a dominant year at Hartnell College. Jonah originally attended the university of California Golden Bears but was suspended for undisclosed reasons. After receiving no offers from Division 1 schools after his impressive year due to concerns about potential negative impact he declared for the NFL Draft and set out to impress at the NFL Combine.

Jonah was invited to the scouting combine, he had a strong combine and impressed with his physical skills whilst also having prototypical linebacker size.
Draft
Jonah was drafted in the 4th round, 79th overall by the Denver Broncos. This pick was a surprise to many with more highly regarded linebackers still available, in the Broncos post draft conference coach LDYo and Owner/GM Double117 said they were very impressed with Jonah's combine, personal workout and interview so much they felt he was the right pick when their pick came around.
