Chacon was redshirted during his first year on campus.

2014 Season

Chacon split playing time with senior Adam Henson during the 2014 CFBHC season.

2015 Season

Coach DescretoBurrito named Frederick Chacon as the starting running back for the 2015 season.

2017 Season

He passed the 4,000 career rushing yards mark in the first game of the 2017 season, at Purdue. Against Army in Week 7 he became the first player to pass 1,000 attempts in CFBHC history. In week 11 against Wyoming he passed Sterling Brown to become the CFBHC all-time career rushing yards leader. During the 2017 MWC Championship game he rushed for 290 yards, and became the first ever 6,000 yard career rusher in CFBHC history. He was named second team All-MWC.
