Professional career

Draft

Chandler was one of the top punters in a very weak class. No punters were drafted in the 2022 NFLHC draft. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.

New York Jets

Chandler spent some time with the Jets during the 2022 pre-season but did not challenge long-time starter John Maslowski. Chandler was cut at the end of the pre-season.

Washington Redskins

A few days after being cut by the Jets, Chandler signed onto the Redskins practice squad for his rookie season.

Miami Dolphins

Chandler was traded to the Dolphins during the draft and won the starting job during training camp.
