Kamau Davis (born September 13, 1992) is an American football Quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Davis attended college at Ohio State before transferring to Indiana for his senior year.

College Career
Kamau Davis attended Ohio State for 4 years, redshirting in his freshman year. He was a backup until his senior season when he decided to transfer to the University of Indiana.
Despite not playing much during his time at Ohio State he was highly recruited coming out of high school and is considered a top college Quarterback.
Professional Career
Davis was selected in the 3rd round (45th Overall) in the 2015 NFLHC Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He was the 7th Quarterback taken in the draft.

2015 Season
Kamau Davis was the first string Quarterback for the Cowboys in his rookie season.
Davis Enjoyed a successful rookie year playing as part of a pro style offense that was centered around star running back Vaughan Abraham, Davis finished the season 7th overall in QB Rating and left the Cowboys confident they had found their quarterback of the future.
2016 Season
Davis was confirmed as the Cowboys starter for his second season
2017 Season
Davis tore his ACL during the 2017 season which put him out for the remainder of the year. The cowboys finished first in the NFC East ultimately losing to New Orleans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
2018 Season
Davis was transition tagged by the Cowboys after his injury, he is scheduled to make $6.6m in 2018.
The Cowboys selected Taylor Rodriguez 57th overall in the 2018 Draft, many media sources speculated the move was one to ultimately replace Davis due to impending re-signing costs and Rodriguez being more of a fit for the Cowboys offence.
Davis was named as the Cowboys starter during training camp with Rodriguez #2 on the depth chart.
Davis helped lead the cowboys to another division championship as the Cowboys went 10-6 for the second straight year, they followed this by winning the divisional round and the NFC Conference championship to take them to the superbowl.
