College Career
Keisel redshirted his first season on campus then spent the next three seasons as the backup to Donnie Hubbert, Tom Simonton, and Marcus Williams. As Williams was a year younger and starting ahead of him, Keisel decided to transfer for his senior season. He transferred to the UAB Blazers in the newly formed C-USA. He won offensive player of the year for the conference.
Professional Career
Draft
Keisel was not invited to the NFLHC combine. Keisel was drafted in the 6th round by the Baltimore Ravens.
Baltimore Ravens
Keisel saw limited action his rookie season as he was backup to Booker T. Washington and Greg Allen. The Ravens drafted Moussa Goode the following season and got rid of Washington. Keisel remained the 3rd string RB for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Heading into the 2022 season, he was traded to the New Orleans Saints for a 7th round pick, which the Ravens used to select RB Walter Gray.

Keisel's stint with the Saints was short as he was waived after the pre-season.
Washington Redskins
The Redskins claimed Keisel off of waivers and have him listed as the backup RB to Ricardo Reed for the 2022 season.
