Draft
Prior to the 2016 NFLHC Draft Banks was invited to the combine. At the combine, Banks had the longest broad jump (10-4) of all the receivers, which was good for second longest in the entire combine. His 4.57 forty raised a few flags with some teams, but his reliable hands led some teams to believe he could be an excellent slot receiver.

Miami Dolphins
Marcus Banks was drafted in the 4th round, 101 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. He immediately became the Dolphins #2 receiver upon signing his rookie contract. The Dolphins decided not to protect Banks prior to the 2017 NFLHC Expansion Draft making him the highest rated Wide Receiver available.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals selected Banks with their first round pick in the 2017 NFLHC Expansion Draft. Banks was the first receiver to join the team, immediately becoming the Cardinals #1 receiver.
In the first week of the 2017 season, Banks caught the first ever pass from Jarius Jones. On the same drive, he also caught Jones' first touchdown pass when they connected from 10 yards out.
