Predraft Processes and Draft
Quezada's draft stock fell incredibly prior to the draft, largely in part from reports stating his lack of motivation.
Arizona Cardinals
2022 Season
Quezada started his 2022 rookie season as a backup to incumbent starter Jeffrey King and Chargers' castoff Nathan Knowlton. Halfway through the season, King's unhappiness in Arizona and speculation about his future in Arizona led to Quezada taking the starting role. In Week 14, Quezada suffered a Torn ACL, ending his rookie season.
Pittsburgh Steelers
2023 Season
Following week 2 of the 2023 preseason, with rookie DT Israel Parson and veterans Nathan Knowlton and Enoch Coleman above Quezada on the depth chart, the Cardinals traded Quezada with RB Ricky Vega to the Steelers for OT Mike Ledbetter and RB Jermaine Lockett.
