Baxter went undrafted in the 2020 NFLHC Draft.

Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals signed Baxter off of the Cowboys practice squad following a Week 8 season-ending injury to starter Noah Hills.

2023 Season

During Week 13, Baxter went down with a Mild Ankle Fracture, knocking him out for at minimum three of the final four Cardinals games.

2024 Season

Baxter re-signed with the Cardinals on a 2-year, $1 million deal prior to 2024 Free Agency.

Baxter was released after being relegated to TE4 on the depth chart following the acquisition of Giants TE Brian Engle.
