Rob Corp (born September 26, 1993) is an American football quarterback who is currently a New York Giant. He played college football at Miami (FL). He went undrafted in the 2017 NFLHC Draft.

College Career

Corp was tasked with the important job of wearing a ballcap backwards with a headset on while at Miami (FL). He notably backed up quarterbacks Onterrio Smith for a year and Paul Davenport for three, and was credited with helping so much in the QB room that it was "like having another coach", per Miami's athletic director. He eventually saw playing time during his redshirt senior year, completing 5 of 5 passes for 55 yards, rushing 8 times for 65 yards, and totaling 2 touchdowns and no turnovers.

Draft

Corp entered the 2017 NFLHC Draft, but did not expect to be drafted.

Pittsburgh Steelers (2017 - 2021)

Following the Draft, despite his extremely limited playing time in college, Corp surprisingly was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers. His former collegiate teammate, Onterrio Smith, was the Pittsburgh starting quarterback. Corp ended up being the #2 QB, behind Smith and ahead of fellow rookies Cleveland Jones and Keith Price, and 2nd year pro Itula Moore. As a rookie, Corp saw significant time in games for the first time since high school. He played surprisingly well, finishing with a 62% completion percentage and a 10:3 TD:INT ratio.

Corp was greeted by another familiar face during the 2018 NFLHC Season; former Miami Hurricane teammmate and housemate Paul Davenport would join him on the Steelers. Corp, after such an amazing rookie campaign, ended up with the reigns to the offense for much of the season, and while he didn't play quite as well, he still managed to complete 60% of his passes and had a 17:10 TD:INT ratio.

Corp played in 30 games for the Steelers between 2017 and 2021.

Arizona Cardinals

During the 2022 offseason, Corp was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in return for QB Rory Weston.

One day after Corp was traded to Arizona, the Cardinals reunited him again with Davenport, signing Davenport to a 2-year deal.

Following a 2022 Week 13 Cardinals loss, Corp was released from the Cardinals in order to allow him to explore future long-term opportunities.

New York Giants

Corp was signed to a 1 year deal, for the remainder of the season, entering Week 14 of 2022 by the Giants. They then chose to start scrubs Andre Webb and Cody Albright over him because the Giants wanted to do him dirty :(
