Wilson was selected with the 100th overall pick of the 2015 NFLHC Draft by the Jets.

New York Jets

Wilson started 4 years for the Jets. He signed a 3 year, $6 million extension with the Jets prior to 2017. He had his strongest year as a pro in 2017 catching 35 passes for 476 yards and 6 TD. After the Jets drafted Matt Stone in 2019, Wilson played backup and once his contract expired he elected not to return to the team.

Tennessee Titans

Wilson signed with his hometown Tennessee Titans in free agency on a 2 year, $10 million deal. He beat out Vaughn St. Clair who had been the starting TE for the Titans for the previous 3 seasons. However, Wilson did not contribute much in the passing game and was cut after the 2020 season.
