Gregory Gilmore is an American football safety for the Arizona Cardinals. He played college football at Oregon State. The Vikings signed him as an undrafted free agent following the 2015 NFLHC Draft. He became a free agent after the 2016 season. The Cardinals signed Gilmore to a one-year deal prior to the 2017 season. This marked the second time GM TheCrimsonChin signed Gilmore to a contract (TheCrimsonChin served as the GM of the Vikings from 2015-2017).

College Career
Gilmore attended Oregon State for five years, redshirting his freshman year. Gilmore played a reserve role in his first three years, but earned the starting job his senior season for the Beavers.

Professional Career
Draft
Gilmore was seen as a late round pick/priority free agent going into the draft. He was not selected in the 2015 NFLHC Draft.
The Vikings signed Gilmore following to a two-year deal the day after the draft.
Minnesota Vikings
Gregory Gilmore became the starting strong safety for the Vikings before the 2015 NFLHC preseason. Gilmore had a successful 2015 campaign as he had 4 interceptions, tying him for the 5th most in the NFC.
However, in 2016 NFLHC Draft the Vikings selected SS Darren Manning in the second round, pushing Gilmore to a resever role. Folloiwingthe 2016 NFLHC Season, Gilmore became a free agent.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals signed Gilmore to a one-year deal prior to the 2017 NFLHC Season making him the team's first starting Strong Safety.
