Joel Prince (born October 29, 1991) is an American football cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals. He was drafted with the 159th overall selection of the 2014 NFLHC Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ortiz was drafted with the 159th overall pick of the 2019 NFLHC Draft by the New York Jets with the second to last pick of the 5th round.

Jacksonville Jaguars

2014 Season

Prince was named the CB1 for the Jaguars inaugural season.

2015 Season

With the League expanding, Prince was named as one of the Jaguars' 7 protected players for the 2015 NFLHC Expansion Draft. He came in tied for 5th in AFC Pro Bowl voting, behind Jacoby Seaverns (Bengals), George Brady (Patriots), John Queen (Jets), and Tony Ross (Browns).

Minnesota Vikings

2016 Season

The Vikings traded OT Jim Otto to the Jaguars for Prince.

Pittsburgh Steelers

With the 2nd overall pick of the 2017 NFLHC Expansion Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Prince.

2021 Season

For the first time in his career, Prince finished a season in a spot different than CB1, finishing as the CB4/dimeback.

2022 Season

Prince continued to struggle, with the Steelers naming Prince as CB4 and giving nickel and dime reps to Noah Crawley, Donovan Singleton-Blake, and even Sergio Munoz over Prince.

Prince was released as the Steelers entered the 2023 offseason, and was paid the $1 million he was guaranteed on the year.

Arizona Cardinals

2023 Season

Prince signed a 2-year, $1 million, 50% GTD deal with the Cardinals. Considered the CB4 in training camp after Ian Garner, John Queen, and Aaron Samuelsson, Prince was to compete with Ozzie Spillman and Sean Benson for the dimeback role.
