Head Coach cmdrcaboose2 was fired during the regular season. The news came following a 38-14 loss to BYU. The team named Jumanji interim Head Coach. In his first game with the team, Jumanji helped the Eagles upset the #3 ranked, Clemson Tigers by a score of 24-17. The Eagles would also go on to win the final two games of the season, before a decisive victory over Houston in the Russell Athletic Bowl. The bowl win was highlighted by wide receiver, Mosi Bartos, setting a CFBHC record for most receiving yards in a game. His final stat-line from the game was 19 catches for 364 yards with 4 touchdowns.
