2014 NFLHC Draft
Maxwell entered into the inaugural NFLHC Draft in 2014. He was the 7th player ever selected by the Green Bay Packers, and the 2nd from Boise State. He was the 8th strong safety selected in the draft.
2015 Expansion
Maxwell was drafted in the 6th round with the 23rd pick overall of the 2015 NFLHC Expansion Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
