Draft

Tommy Furrey was seen as a 5th-7th round pick by most analysts. Furrey did not participate in the combine. The New England Patriots selected him with the 75th overall pick in the 5th round.

New England Patriots

Furrey was the Patriots #1 receiver for two seasons. Furrey impressed during his rookie season but really increased his production in his second season in which he made the Pro Bowl. After the season, Furrey decided to test the free agency market.

Houston Texans

Furrey was one of the most sought after free agents and signed a 1 year, $11.5 million deal with the Houston Texans. Furrey spent the season as the #2 WR behind rookie WR Billy Rodgers.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans selected Tommy Furrey with the 17th overall pick in the expansion draft. Furrey found his form again in Tennessee reaching the Pro Bowl in 2017. In 2019, Furrey tore his ACL in a game against the Houston Texans midway through the season.
