Pre-draft

Stone was generally expected to be a 2nd round prospect pre-combine, but a very solid Pro Day (including a record 40 time for a TE of 4.66) catapulted him into first round consideration.

Draft

Stone was selected with the 31st overall pick of the 2019 NFLHC Draft by the Jets. He is just the second TE to be selected in the first round in the history of NFLHC, the first being Danny Patrick.
